Innovative regeneration devices for professional and home use alike.
IMAGINE HEALTH
Wound care
Our innovative devices may support wound healing, the easing of inflammation and pain, and the regeneration of the skin.

Supporting wound healing with innovative technologies
Mild oxygen therapy, cryotherapy and red light therapy may all contribute to supporting wound healing. All three technologies may assist the healing process and may ease pain and inflammation, while they may support skin texture and reduce scarring. Below we look at the devices with which these treatments can be carried out.
THE MOST IMPORTANT BENEFITS
What the technologies may help with

Faster recovery
Supporting the wound healing process.

Less inflammation
Reducing inflammation and swelling.

Decreasing pain
A more comfortable recovery alongside the treatments.

Better circulation
More oxygen and nutrients to the damaged tissues.

Less scarring
Supporting the regeneration and texture of the skin.
WHICH DEVICES MIGHT BE SUITABLE?
Four technologies in supporting healing
Hyperbaric oxygen cabins
With an increased oxygen concentration and pressure, more oxygen may reach the bloodstream, the tissues and the area around the wound. According to the literature it may assist the treatment of slow-healing wounds and the formation of new blood vessels.
Cryotherapy chambers
Under the effect of cold the blood vessels may contract, which may ease inflammation and swelling. After the treatment the vessels gradually widen, improving circulation in the area under strain.
Red light therapy devices
Red and near infrared light penetrates deeper into the skin, may stimulate cell function and, according to research, may contribute to wound healing and to reducing scarring.
Pressure therapy devices
Rhythmic, mechanical compression may support venous and lymphatic flow, which may also be important for swelling and the fluid balance of the tissues during recovery.

Supported healing at every stage
The technologies may help in different ways at different stages of healing - from easing inflammation to supporting tissue regeneration.
- Decreasing inflammation and swelling
- An increased oxygen and nutrient supply
- Supported tissue regeneration
- A more comfortable, less painful recovery
- A more favourable development of skin texture and scars

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Frequently asked questions
Does this replace medical wound care?
No. These are complementary devices of a wellness and regeneration nature. Professional wound care, dressing and medical supervision are always the responsibility of the treating doctor - the devices should only be used alongside those, after consultation.
Can they be applied to an open wound?
Not on an open or untreated wound. The treatments may apply to the area around the wound and to the later stages of healing - this must always be discussed with the treating doctor in advance.
How long does it take before the effect is noticeable?
This varies from person to person and from technology to technology, and it also depends greatly on the nature of the wound. A more lasting result usually requires several regularly repeated treatments.
Can the technologies be combined?
In most cases yes, and they are often used complementing one another. The exact programme should always be worked out in consultation with the treating doctor.
Are there any contraindications?
Yes, and they differ from technology to technology. In cases of acute infection, fever, an untreated wound, serious circulatory or heart disease, or pregnancy, always consult a specialist. You will find the contraindications for each technology on the device pages and on the FAQ page.
