WHAT IS COMPRESSION THERAPY?
What can a pressure therapy device do?
During air compression pressure therapy (IPC) a boot with air chambers, pulled onto the leg, inflates and deflates rhythmically. The wave-like, sequential movement creates a massaging effect on the limbs.
This may stimulate blood and lymph circulation, may help to move stagnant fluid and may support the regeneration of the muscles. VITALPRESS HEALTH devices work with several overlapping air chambers and can be used with leg, arm and hip cuffs.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Questions and answers
What does the treatment feel like?
The air chambers create a pleasant pressure and a wave-like movement in the limbs. The strength of the pressure can be adjusted; at the right intensity it does not cause pain.
How long does a treatment take?
A session generally lasts 30-60 minutes - and this also determines the daily capacity of the device.
How often is it recommended?
For general recovery 2-3 sessions a month is usual, for athletes 2-3 sessions a week. Because of this regular use, buying your own device pays off for many people.
How many air chambers are needed?
The more overlapping chambers there are in the cuff, the finer and more even the compression. Entry-level models work with 4 chambers, professional devices with 8 or more.
Can it help with varicose vein problems?
It may help to ease venous congestion and to support circulation, but on its own it does not remove varicose veins. It is worth using as a complementary method, on medical advice.
